Inheritance Tax

Always a topic of conversation amongst clients, Inheritance Tax (IHT) is often referred to as Death Tax. It is a voluntary tax though as there are many ways of reducing you liability legally.

With the new rules annouced in the 2015 Budget, a husband and wife now have an allowance of £1 million.

Careful use of annual allowances and gifting of assets also mean that you can reduce the amount of your estate eligible for IHT in a legal manner should your estate be above this threshold.

We are here to answer any questions, and if there is a tax liability for your dependents to pay on your death we can always ensure there are the means to pay it without stress or delay.
